WHAT A BECOME® PROGRAM IS
A BECOME® Program is the comprehensive change management and implementation methodology through which the BECOME® Framework becomes the way an enterprise actually thinks and operates.
A BECOME® Practitioner facilitates a representative leadership coalition within the enterprise in implementing the business logic and architecture of the BECOME® Framework throughout the organization. Using the corresponding BECOME® Canvases, the coalition develops and implements every component of the Framework, including the behavioral optimization required to make it work in practice.
A BECOME® PROGRAM CONSISTS OF FOUR CONSECUTIVE MODULES

IDENTITY
Identifying the intrinsic DNA—and therefore the intrinsic identity—of the enterprise, which becomes its permanent compass.

STRATEGY
Defining the corresponding strategy: the business model the leadership coalition intends to realize over the next three to five years.

TACTICS
Developing the tactics required to implement that strategy, including objectives, targets, approaches, KPIs and initiatives.

OPERATIONS
Executing the established plans and embedding the BECOME® Framework in the enterprise’s leadership, behavior and daily operations.
The first three modules combine intensive workshops, assignments and continuous leadership support for every member of the leadership coalition. The operational module continues with leadership support and periodic follow-up sessions, during which the BECOME® Practitioner evaluates progress, provides feedback and facilitates the required behavioral change.
The objective is not dependence on external consultants, but an enterprise that can continue actualizing its own potential.
HOW TO GET STARTED

EXPLORE
A confidential first conversation with a BECOME® Practitioner explores the enterprise’s questions, ambitions and current reality. The Practitioner assesses how far the enterprise is from the ultraperformance way of thinking and working. If the enterprise already thinks and works this way, a BECOME® Program is unnecessary. This currently applies to only 3% of enterprises. If a program is necessary, the BECOME® Practitioner explains why and presents a concrete proposal. The enterprise can then decide whether to proceed.

PREPARE
Once the enterprise has commissioned the BECOME® Program, the BECOME® Practitioner conducts a three-hour interview with the executive team to develop a clear understanding of the enterprise and its challenges and to prepare the program thoroughly. The executive team also determines the composition of the representative leadership coalition that will participate in the program, comprising both formal and informal leaders.

IMPLEMENT
The BECOME® Practitioner provides every member of the leadership coalition with the information and resources required to prepare for the BECOME® Program. The Practitioner subsequently guides the coalition through the complete program until the BECOME® Framework is embedded in the way the enterprise thinks and works.
